Sound Familiar?
"I'll Just Wear a Hat"
You start wearing caps everywhere — not because you like them, but because it's easier than wondering if anyone's looking.
"Is It Getting Worse?"
The question you ask yourself every few weeks. Checking in different lights, comparing old photos, hoping nobody else has noticed yet.
"Can We Skip the Photo?"
Standing at the back of every group shot, checking each tagged picture before anyone else sees it, and untagging the ones taken from above.
Testimonials
No Dust. No Fibres. Just Cream.
Powders sit on the surface. One rain shower, one gym session, one hand through your hair and they're on your collar.
Gelorra is a cream. It bonds to the hair and scalp instead of dusting over them, so it holds through sweat and weather and comes off when you decide it does — in the shower, not on your pillow. Castor oil keeps it from drying out the scalp underneath.
Matte finish, no shine, no residue on the fingers. Blends across every hair colour and works on thinning crowns, receding lines, and part gaps alike.

Before You Order
The questions people ask most before they try it.
Does it actually work?
It doesn't add hair. It removes the contrast that makes thinning visible. Thinning shows because your scalp is lighter than your hair. Gelorra tints the scalp to match, so the gaps stop standing out.
What it does
- Hides visible scalp in thin areas
- Works the first time you apply it
- Washes out with shampoo
What it doesn't
- Regrow hair
- Cover fully bald areas
- Permanently dye anything
Applied in thin layers, it looks natural up close. The most common mistake is using too much at once.
Is it right for me, and which shade?
It works best where you still have hair to blend into, like a widening part, a thinning crown or a receding hairline. On completely bald skin there's nothing for it to blend with.
For your shade, match your roots, not your ends. If you're between two, choose the darker one. A slightly deeper tone reads as natural density, while one that's too light can look like a patch.
Mostly grey, white or very light blonde? Send us a daylight photo of your roots through our contact page and we'll tell you honestly whether it will blend before you order.
How do I apply it?
- Start with clean, completely dry hair and scalp.
- Pick up a small amount on the applicator brush. Less than you think.
- Part your hair over the thin area and dab the cream lightly onto the scalp, working in the direction your hair grows.
- Build it up in thin layers and feather the edges so there's no hard line.
- Let it set for a few minutes before you touch or style your hair.
Tip: apply in natural daylight. It's the most honest light for checking how well it blends.
What's in it?
Gelorra is enriched with castor oil, known for its strengthening and nourishing properties. Our formula is free from harsh chemicals, paraben-free and dermatologist tested — designed to be safe for daily scalp use.
Is it safe for my scalp and hair?
It's a cosmetic that sits on the surface and washes out. Used as directed and washed out regularly, it won't affect your natural hair growth.
If you have sensitive skin, test a small amount behind your ear 24 hours before your first full application.
Using minoxidil or another treatment? Apply your treatment first and let it dry completely, then apply Gelorra on top. Wash it out before any evening application.
Will it run, rub off or make a mess?
No powder, no dust, nothing falling onto your collar. Once it has fully set, it's made to stay put through sweat, humidity and rain. If your hair gets wet, pat it dry rather than rubbing.
Heavy friction, like sleeping on it or pulling a tight cap on and off, can lift a little. That's why many people wash it out before bed or use a dark pillowcase.
Is it permanent?
No. It's not a dye. It stays in place until you shampoo, then washes out with your regular shampoo. A second lather clears any leftover traces. You decide each day whether to wear it.
